The Greatest Minecraft Server (and the welcoming of new members)

BossMqn, hop_3, aynestein, and 1vvapedebt after a victorious battle with the Ender Dragon. 

There is much to catch you up on. Over the summer, beansprout (Elena Jackson), hop3 (Hope Koehler), aynestein (Ayne Park), and bossman (Cole Huh) started a mystical minecraft server. This server shall go down in history as the greatest, most abundant server of all time (grandiosity monger btw). This world was developed and cultivated over the months of the summer. Hours were poured into transforming a measly desert village into a prosperous desert nation. Obviously, the founders are not gatekeepers. Newcomers were welcomed into the world without a question. hop_3 in particular grew to be the richest in in the nation. Gold, Diamonds, Netherite, and axolotls in buckets filled her chests. 

One day, bossman informed hop_3 that there was a bastion that was yet to be raided. The reader must understand that hop_3 had already successfully raided a bastion earlier in the summer. But hop_3 grew greedy. Not greedy for her material belongings but for the mutual benefit of all others in the server. She dreamed of bringing back more loot than her chest could contain. Her goals were lofty, so she set off all alone into the nether, determined to use her strength to accommodate for all the guests that were invited into the server.

As soon as she entered the nether, she was confident. She swiftly followed the directions to the coordinates of the bastion and slyly dropped in. At first, it was all going well. She navigated the hallways and stayed out of danger. All of a sudden she spotted one piglin brute. Equipped with all netherite armor and maxxed out enchantments, she thought she could handle it. She tapped the brute with her sword… it was a costly lapse in judgement. hop_3 failed to remember that damage to one brute invited the rage of all others. All of a sudden, she was surrounded. Entirely caught off guard. Brutes swarmed her and her hearts grew low. But hop_3 has survival instincts. Everyone knows that. With two hearts to spare and completely enveloped by brutes, she intelligently logged off the server. 

For one entire month, hop_3 was unable to play. She begged for bossman to save her, but he was always occupied with other worldly tasks. This was not due to selfishness, but simply a discrepancy of schedules. Thankfully, on a fated Sunday: August 30th, the timing worked out perfectly. A plan arose. New members 1vvapedebt (Ava Lehmann) and sonion (Simon Bramwit), as well as the original founders descended down into the big red house next to El Chamo and decided to partake in a glorious night of Wine and Mine. Charcuterie was served, wine glasses overflowed, and anticipation rose as these noble players logged into the server (except hop_3 because she was still surrounded). 

bossman knew that he had a rescue mission. hop_3 was still trapped in the bastion, and he had to get to her. Of course, beansprout and sonion attempted to help as well. bossman and beansprout entered the nether portal and followed the coordinates for the ultimate rescue mission. sonion on the other hand … I don’t know what he was doing. The plan was simple. bossman was to go to hop_3’s last known location, distract the brutes and fight them off as hop_3 rejoined the server and ate steak to recuperate. As this was happening, our very brand new member 1vvapedebt entered the realm at spawn. 

aynestein, who was not confident in her distraction or fighting capabilities, opted to stay back and rescue 1vvapedebt from spawn. She valiantly rode a happy ghast across thousands of blocks to spawn to pick up 1vvapedebt and bring her back to the safety of the flourishing city. This, arguably easier, rescue mission took 30 minutes. While aynestein and 1vvapedebt were enjoying their romantic happy ghast ride into the sunset sky, they could hear the 4 others struggling to free hop_3 from the grasp of the bastion. 

Thankfully, bossman was able to adequately distract the brutes and the mission was completed without a single hiccup in the plan. Then, beansprout and hop_3 expertly navigated the lava fields atop striders to return back home. sonion on the other hand, idiotically went in and out of the nether portal, seemingly confused about his entire existence. 

All of this is to say that the Mine and Wine squad had been established and reunited. They gathered together at base where they all celebrated and made grand plans to expand the base even more. New characters (1vvapedebt and sonion) had been unlocked. The founders were all in the world. The great disruption had been avoided and all the fish in the sea, the sheep and cows in the farms, and the endermen breathed one huge sigh of relief.
